Derek Hendrikz is an international strategic leadership and organisational performance specialist. As renowned trainer, speaker and consultant, Derek has twenty years’ experience and have worked in South Africa, Austria, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Mauritius, Ghana, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Maldives and Malaysia.
He specialises in the training of executive teams and is mostly contracted to train Board Members, EXCO teams and senior managers. Derek trains in the vicinity of 3000 highly satisfied customers per year and over the past 20-years has worked with more than 170 companies and has trained more than 50 000 participants in various work sessions.
In consulting Derek has undertaken a myriad of projects, but holds highest acclaim for his work in the development, implementation and measurement of organisational strategy.
Academically Derek holds tertiary and post graduate qualifications in the fields of Business Administration, Labour Relations & Law; Training & Development; Facilitation Skills; and Group Process Consultation.
He plays a leading role in the occupational training industry as the founding member and first elected president of the Southern Africa Professional Trainers Association (SAPTA), who is the leading association within the professional training arena in the Southern Africa Development Countries (SADC) region.
As a well-respected presenter and motivational speaker, his lively and inspirational presentations have inspired many top business people and government executives to take action.
Derek regularly publishes articles in the field of strategic leadership and strategy development and has appeared in various television talk shows as a quest member. His current book “Wizard of Org – The Art of Leadership and Practice of Management” is due to be published in 2015.
